We are here tied up in Yarmouth at Killiam’s Marina - 12 hours door to door! A great day of boating (albeit a rough start due to the ‘swell’ sea! 🤢. Not my finest hour - however the meclizine kicked in and all was good for the afternoon. After the ‘rips’ off Cape Sable Island, the calm of Yarmouth Harbour and Cape Forchu was a welcome sight.
We have steaks, potatoes and veggies to cook, and something to celebrate our successful day. The journey begins in earnest - we are off to Grand Manan tomorrow, as the weather outlook is good for crossing the Bay of Fundy. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Glad you had a great first day! C.
